I finally did it, got my own Mustang

Well, I finally found what I hope is the Mustang I want. Bought it on E-bay. No motor, no tranny, just a 1986 notchback that's in decent shape, for the Cleveland. I'm headed to Missouri in the morning to pick it up. I'll post some pictures as soon as I get back.
Correct me if I'm wrong but an original 6 cylinder needs a different K-member to install a V8 right? I'm ordering a D&D tubular crossmember this week. The new K-member is going to get done regardless, but I was hoping I were correct.
My Cleveland block is back in the machine shop for it's final prep work, line bore, cam bearings and pistons pressed on new rods. Things are coming together. I'm going to try to attach a picture of the block as it sits now.

I give up. I guess this antique connection won't work

I'm trying to attack a picture but it's not working, any ideas?

what's wrong? Are you getting an error?

Also, don't forget to hit the upload button on the attachment window before you close it.

Re: V6 K Member

The 1980-1982 3.3L I-6 engines had a different K-member than the I4/V6/V8 cars.

The I4/V6/V8 cars use the same K-member, if I'm correct.

Thanks Unit. I did some checking this afternoon and the stickers on the underside of the hood indicate the car had a 3.8 V-6 in it. I kept running back and forth between it and the 82 with a measuring tape and everything seemed the same but this confirms it. Now if I can just figure out which of the 8 million wires under there are the ones I need and which are computer junk. Think I'll concentrate on the engine for a while.
