Faded Headlights

Anyone know a good way to bring back the shine on plastic headlights. I have heard 2 sides to wet sanding, and also using WD40 works but havent tried it yet.

I use a plastic cleaner made buy a company called FLITZ. I sell alot of it at the parts store for this very purpose. Works great on all plastics and plexiglass. I use 2000 grit paper first then the FLITZ. Hope this helps, just my two cents.

I use Bon Ami powdered cleanser on my plastic lenses - sparingly - and it works great. About $1.00 for a 14 oz. can. You can use the remainder to scrub your toilet out. :)

I was told by someone very knowledgeable to use MOTHERS on them. I never tried, I just upgraded to some Cobra Clear Diamond ones instead. But, I would trust his judgement...
