need help for kids with arthritis
We need help. I am a volunteer for the Arthritis Foundation in Arizona. We have a great opportunity to raise money for kids with arthritis and can't seem to make it take off. A local Ford dealership is helping us out with a raffle for a new 2005 mustang, but we are having a hard time selling the tickets. Any ideas for how we might sell the tickets? They were hoping to sell 2,500 tickets, but have sold less than 200 right now. The drawing is on May 21st. We really don't know what to do. Can anyone help with a good idea?

Re: need help for kids with arthritis
Go to your local retail stores and ask if you can set up a booth to sell tickets. I see this type of thing outside of Walmart all the time, and I think it's great. Almost everyone ends up in one of the larger retail stores at some time or another, and most of the time they're there to spend money. As long as your tickets aren't $50 or something, I think you'll have success.
Key thing: you need to be VISIBLE, and people have to know IMMEDIATELY what and why you're selling. |

^What he said :)
The wally I used to work at did it every so often. The day they were giving away an (iirc) 84 or 85 302, I ended up buying tickets on both my breaks and lunch. |
