hey everyone i was just wondering if yall had any imput on this: i have a 1987 (saleen) gt body kit previous owner did it but it says sl gt on the title.any way,and it has a carbrated 302 thats pretty stout backed by a tremek 5 spd the best its run is 11.80 in the quarter on street slicks.natraly asperated. problem is the body is reel ruff and i think its been recked before.cause it leans to one side a lil bit. i ethier want to fix the body up or find a cheap 4 cyl lx with a strait body and just change out motors and go from there witch one do u think i should do and witch one do u think would be cheaper...thanx for any coments

As far as the four banger... nope- gotta change everything and they came with smaller brakes too. Lot of trouble to get it right! As far as leaning, mine (just bought it) did that til I found a stuck shock on the rear. Mine says Cobra GT on the title and it's an 89... so that don't mean squat. Look at the VIN decoders on the net. Good Luck!
