Suspension upgrade ideas???

Hey all, I'm needing to redo the suspension in my 2002 Mustang GT, and I'm not too impressed with the ride quality of the stock equipment, I would like to go with bilstein all around but it's a little too pricey for what i'm after, I want to maintain the performance handling, but want a little more comfortable ride. I'm interested in hearing what you guys have tried, and what you think? any suggestions are much appreciated, thanks.

No specific recommendations but I'm sure you'll get a few. If you want a more 'comfortable' ride, high-performance shocks won't do it. They tend to be 'stiffer', not softer. You might want to consider adjustable shocks and/or tires with a slightly 'softer' compound. They wear faster but give better dry traction and generally ride 'softer'. Its a trade-off, as usual.

There really is no magic formula. A 'comfortable' ride will usually sacrifice some handling capability and a firmer ride definitely is less 'comfortable', that word being subjective. Compromise is key.
