I know what you mean about Fed Ex. Not the ground division, which has obviously boomed due to crazy value in the shipping industry. You get a Fed Ex name on a package, reliable service, and you get it cheap.

All those scanning procedures stink. I remember when we went from the big gun to the smaller hand held trackers and had to scan every package that went into the cans. Talk about a joke. Our scan rates were 98-99% on the belt, I recorded 99.0-99.8% scan rates when they had me on the gun, all while pushing 13,000+ packages through a building that was designed for 6500 or so. A new station popped up recently, and it pulled a lot of the freight away from AELA. I'm glad I haven't been there in a while. It's just not the same as Fed Ex was when I started. Man, it used to be a great, fun job.
