Default What are your top 5 favorite recent movies (within last 5 years)

I was just wondering what everyone's favorite movies have been in the last 5 years, my favorites are:
1. jack@ss the movie
2. South Park the movie
3. Event Horizon
4. Resident Evil
5. Red Dragon

...i have a very odd taste in movies

I know people have all time favorite movies, most of mine are older movies, It's kind of challanging trying to find them in a time frame.

I thought it was a great movie, I think we discussed it before. I like those types of movies. The only disadvantge was I was with 3 girls that had no clue what was going on so I had to explain everything like 5 times.

Office Space is probably one of the funniest movies.... Also cause I worked for my goverment in the summer in a IT department and every was like the movie. Even to the part where they fired someone and didn't bother to tell him. lol

I haven't seen it yet. The one that blows my mind is Gone in 60 Seconds. people seem to confuse a Cool car with a lame movie. Great vehicles, substandard plot, crappy acting and horrible effects. Yeah, that's a winner.

Take care,
~Chris

Porn's the same way but we watch it too... lol j/k
I don't think it was that bad... I've seen alot worse. The movie wasn't really a drama kind of movie. I had to watch it 3 times before I knew there was actual actors in it. But out of the last 5 years that's probably one of the better car movies that have came out. Everything is to rice now.

Agreed. I've watched that movie way too many times, lol. I laugh my arse every time I watch it... *pops in DVD* ...gonna have to watch it again.

Have you, or anyone for that matter, seen Snatch? (the movie, of course) Gotta love those Pikers... they have a language all thier own, lol. You have to turn on the subtitles to even remotely understand what Brad Pitt's character says....

Mickey (brad pitt): "Do you like dags?"
Tommy: "Dags???"
Mickey: "Yeah, dags..."
Tommy: "You mean DOGS?"
Mickey: "Yeah, dags..."
Tommy: "Oh... I like dags."

LOL! gotta see it to appreciate it! Highly recommended viewing to anyone who's gonna hit the video store soon. I quoted Bricktop, from Snatch, in the Word Assoc. thread not too long ago concerning his explanation on how to get rid of a body...

Check it out sometime if you haven't already... excellent flick!!!

...Chris, you should check out my two fav's and let me know how you like em. O' Brother was an excellent movie as well, forgot about that actually. If only Hollywood could make a good car flick...

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back:

"Crack... want some crack... get you high..." LOL! I love that dude on SNL, can't recall his name off the top of my head but his voice cracks me up!!! "Pumpkin Escobar..." ROTFLMAO!!!

...you've never seen Guy Ritchie's movie, Snatch??? (snatch=take)

"Rent it tonight, and go home happy." It's about a diamond robbery, which is a very simple explanation of this 'Pulp Fiction' style flick. My favorite movie as of recent. The Godfather saga is my favorite all time movie, and the book is even better (duh.).

Check it out!!! Rent it and laugh your arse off! Good soundtrack too.
