Hi,
Having never experienced this before, I figure I share my first experience of getting pulled over.
The story: I get real cocky when I'm the first at a red light; I always do a fast take off, just for fun (and to learn).
So I'm waiting at a red light, and behind me is a school bus, but I didn't see a cop or anything. I didn't want to go fast cuz I had to make a right turn into my work place (about 200ft. from red light). I took off fast on green, but peeled my tires, and when I looked up to see how far I got (I only got to 2nd gear), I saw a cop come out behind the school bus, and after me.
I took two right turns before stopping, on which the cop later asked me why I took so long to pull over; I told him I worked here. Anywho, to make long story short, he told me it wasn't smart to squeal tires in front of a school bus and a cop (he didn't mention speeding cuz I was within my limits). He was a young cop and mentioned these cars are fun to drive, so I was hoping I wouldn't get a ticket.
I was right, I didn't get a ticket. Prolly cuz it was 7:30am and he told he hadn't had his coffee yet.
I don't konw why I take these risks. The cop station (it's pretty big) is just two lights from my work (and my home). Not very smart!
Bye!
