				 | Quarter Glass Trim Repair, Anyone tried... Anyone tried sanding/filling their rear window trim with a body filler, then priming/repainting them black? Mine look pretty rough in some spots but are still solid, what kind of filler would be flexible like the rubber moldings so it wouldn't crack or come off in the near future? I kow you can get trim covers from steeda, but only for hatchbacks and I don't want them to stick out at all.

				 | Steeda sells a nice black "cap" that goes over the old trim and looks great.

				 | Yeah, but only for hatchbacks and I don't want them to be any thicker. I just want them to look stock, I'll probably go to the autobody supply store and see what they have.

				 | I didn't fill mine, but I lightly sanded them then primed and painted them. They look much better than they did. Make sure you use the primer. I originally didn't and the paint starting coming off in just a few months. Btw, I just used the cheap dupli-color paint stuff from Wal-Mart......it has held fine now for well over a year.
