Post Questions on tires

I want to go with the nitto 555's up front and NT555 drag radials out back. Im looking at the ROH ZS 17*7.5 rims. now the question is up front i want to go with 235/45/17, Nitto says that this front tire is 9.33inches in width, will this work up front on a 85 GT with BBK lowering springs. im sure it will be ok on the hieght but will it rub when i turn? and on the back the tires will be 245/45/17 and these are 9.61inches in width, i know i need to remount the quad shock but after doing this will a wheel this wide fit in an 85GT. I have seen this done on 87-93 mustangs but i know that they have changed the roominess up front with each year. any help would be apprieated.

I've got 245/55 Falkens on my '84 at stock height and they rub a bit with the wheel at full lock. And I've got 16"x7.5" wheels. If your offset is different, it might work but I'd bet it'll rub at full lock.

In case anyone else is wondering, NITTO 555's are awesome.

My buddy the Lizard King has 'em.
They don't chirp between shifts, they BARK... hard!

I'm guessing they'll be good for .5 second at the track.

.. stay tuned ..
