Really dissapointed in the new GT crowd
 

I am sick of going to the track and watching the 99+GT's bow out of races with the LS1's. What a bunch of losers, they are afraid to race and lose cause the LS1 guys get everything on tape.

This is how bad it has gotten a new GT was staged by himself for a solo run when an LS1 zooms up in the other lane and stages with him. The guy in the mustang backs up and tells the guy out the window "I dont want none man, Go ahead.

Maybe the local dealerships should include a set of balls with the new GT.

To me, backing out is worst than losing, cause it means you don't have the balls to even try.

Hell at the track I race just about anything, V-6 stangs, 5.0's, trucks, 4-wheelers, 6 second cars(in the 1/8). I get beat a lot, but hey sometimes I win.

I've never heard of such a thing at the track. You guys should've pulled him out of the car and sent him on his way with a foot to the @ss.

I've seen newer GTs at the track running high 13s. It's not like the new GTs won't give an LS1 a good run.:rolleyes:

Here here! I was at Carlsbad last weekend just checking the place out. I saw a high 11's bug run there. If you are scared of LS1's in your GT, then you should be scared of everything.

I thought the point of going to a track was to race OTHER PEOPLE. If you run by yourself you are wasting everybody's time.

I like racing someone quicker, just make me concentrate harder on the lights and a few time i have gotten the better reaction time andf then they blow by me but it's fun to be able to say you was ahead of a full on race car for at least 40-50' :D


why do you go out there if your gonna wuss out cause a supposedly quicker car pull besides you. i race at an 1/8 mile track and luv racing the ls1 there i can beat them off the line and usualy hold then off. i had a race with a bullit and i had him off the line and was ahead till about 650' too bad the race was 660'!! his trap speed was 4 mph faster than mine.

LS1s? Bring em ON!!!!! :D

I have been lucky this year... no loses over them. With the new exaust and the slicks,... I have an equalization factor.

i'll run them .....win or lose i dont give a ******.........line it UP!

With those mods... I would give you the upper hand.

That's pretty damn sad. The other guy could have spun his tires, missed a shift, or just been a lousy driver. If you go to the track to race, then RACE!!!

i wouldn't care whom i was going up against cause i'm racing for my own enjoyment. but if your backing out then you need a smack up the back side of your head.:D ....unless its a stock honda civic up against a moded viper. that would be funny:rolleyes:

I'll race ANYTHING. I definitely had balls purchased at the same time as the GT. If anything, I OVERESTIMATE how fast my car is. If that had been me at the track, I probably would have said, "Na, you're too slow for me, you go ahead and let that Vette behind you take that lane!!"

That is the most horrid thing I've read today. How could he do that to that poor mustang? Bah! He's really a spy out to make Mustangs look bad. :eek: I have a V-6 and I race anything and everything. It's the only REAL way to find out what YOUR racing abilities and limits are. I must see to believe. :D
