Default rear end noise and rebuild info

My 8.8 is getting a bit noisy. I want to rebuild it but am not sure of all the parts I need. It is strictly a street car so I don't need the big buck stuff. I plan to find a new ford posi unit and install new 3.55 gears. What elso do I need to make it like new. I installed new outer axle bearings and seals with my last brake job so those should be ok. Thanks.

I would go ahead and replace the carrier barrings and races while you were at it. Especially if they have any pitting. There are also two barrings and a seal on the pinion gear as well. It will set you back about $60 for all the bearings races and seal. They are really easy to change too.
