A '96 auto? That things not gonna be a world beater either! It's gonna be heavy and not all that fast with the automatic! Maybe you should wait and try to find a little different of a car that you'd get a little better performance out of? Are you in a hurry to sell your '00? Of course it's your choice and if you want to get the '96 don't let me change your mind, I'm just saying my opinion. Either way, I'm glad they're fixing your lights! Finally!!!!!

If it were me getting a newer vehicle, I would opt for the 95gt. 5.0's are much easier to work on and after all, there is only so many mods you can do to a 4.6....
But.. That is my opinion, you may like the 4.6.

I agree, if your looking for a Sn95, then go for a 94-95GT 5spd.

My friend has a 96GT auto and it is a total dog. His 89 automatic convertible GT w/2.73 gears can even beat it

the 5.0 is MUCH easier to work on and has a huge aftermarket available which makes parts cheaper and easier to find.

Then again, you could get a 96 cobra
