Post Ricer movie? Looks good.

Check out this trailer. Imagine what the movie theatre parking lot will look like on opening weekend. I'll be there.

you know, when i first heard of the movie i thought, "hey, some independent guy made amovie about street racing". that would have been cool, regardless of the cars they drove. but then i see it's directed by Ron Howard? and produced by a major holywood studio? soulless crap. i'd go see the movie, but i'd also try to get there before the riceboys and park in a very obvious place.

HELL NAA!! Did you see that freakin' Mopar squat and pull its wheels up!?! OMG! And of course the ricer stayed with him. Oh, and what's with all the fire coming out the tail pipes?

I've heard other people talk about this movie, but I had never seen the trailer.

Anyway, if you get past all the crap about the ricers, I may just have to see the movie. Kinda looked interesting.

Oh...and isn't that the dude from Pitch Black? They should have kept his eyes the same as in the other movie. THAT would be cool. Pull up next to a ricer and his freakin' eyes are glowing in the dark....yeah....I could dig that....

Man, too much work for me today...I gotta get home.

This movie looks good to me, I'm gonna plan on seeing it. I'd look past the ricer racing, street racing is street racing. Just my $.02

Going to see car movies, gun movies, and computer movies are all the same to me. I really have to work hard to suspend my disbelief.

It looks like it could be a good action flick. I'll probably go see it.

This is not easy for me to say but I have to admit it: I was driving home tonight and I got into a race with a suped-up Civic. We were already crusing around 30mph when he decided to take the jump on me. I jumped back and caught him but that was it. We didn't race far cuz this road has a tendacy to have cops around. My point is, we reached about 65-70mph and that lil Civic had some push. I was shocked! The car looked really good too. It was probably a 97-98 model (not Si). It was red, had the 2-foot spoiler, cleared out tail lights w/red bulbs, and perhaps a sho-gun ground effects. Oh, and nice 17 inch spoke rims. It was dark outside but I think there were some stickers too. It definately had some show. Well, there's my confession but the story will soon change by the end of this summer. I look forward to meeting him again. And if yall see him....you know what to do

There was one thing pure fiction in that trailer. The ricer has a girlfriend.

Ah yes, opening night will be fun.....ooooh, so much fun.

The wheelie LOVE IT. That was until I watched it again and saw it getting a lift. Pause it as the tires start to smoke and look in front of the back tires. Still looks like a good flick it has racing doesn't it.

This movie is going to be the bomb. I don't care what people say about imports becuase I am a true car lover and think there are so phat arse imports out there. Plently I have seen that will snake a Mustang so...anyway. It is going to be tight though. I am sure there will a chance to do a little racng after the movie.

Argh. This movie was mentioned a few months back. Not sure if anyone remembers my replies or not, but after the movie, the rice will fly (not past me) and there will be this burning smell that shall linger in the air. I can smell it now.. Burnt Rice. I'll be waiting for them after the movie, engine warm and ready to go. Not sure what Mustang I'll take yet though. Old Muscle, or New Muscle. Hmmmmmm.

Just read my sig...

"The Yellowjacket"
Ricer 1: What the heck was that!?
Ricer 2: I don't know. It looked kind of like a yellow SN95 Mustang.
Ricer 1: Nah, fast SN95 Mustangs don't exist... Must have been a mirage or something...

If anyone in Cali goes and sees the movie at the theater at Ontario Mills, I will be there too in one of my cars. Come "cook some rice".
