A Riddle for ya
 

Ok i heard this from a friend last nite and cant get it out of my head the only thing is that he doesn't know the answer either so he's no help. what do u guys think?

3 guys walk into a hotel to get a room. Clerk tells them its $30. So that means its $10 a person right? Then later the clerk figures out he charged them too much money, that the room was only $25. So that leaves $5 left over. Not being able to figure how he's going to divide the $5 between 3 guys he pockets 2 dollars and gives one dollar to each of the guys. In doing the math $9x3 is $27 plus the $2 dollars the clerk pocketed making the total $29. Where did the other $1 go to?

$25+the $2 he pocketed is $27+ the $3 that was given to the guys=$30

the dollar was never missing. people do that math wrong and that is the trick.

I remember someone posted that riddle acouple months back. :D I tell alot of people about it, just to mess with there mind. :D :D
