Nah,no insurance..
Paid $270 for the TV from Best Buy 5yrs ago, never had a prob with it. Computer was custom built by Cyber Power INC,that cost me $1200 for a 1000mhz AMD,if I was to insure one of them,it would be the puter |

That sucks! I just got a new 27" flatscreen and was thinking I need a way to protect it. The real nice surge protection outlets are like 100 bucks though at Best Buy. I know they are probably worth it, but it still seems like an awful lot of money, especially for a poor college boy !

I guarantee you won't be thinking they are too expensive when you are looking at a smoldering glass cube.... |

So , I went to bed. After I got home from school, I went to turn on the TV, TV turned on but my Dirtect TV system didn't turn on. Brought it into local electronics shop. Its fried. R.I.P $100
