Rice Hunter 06-05-2003 10:13 AM

Nah, I just don't want to feel like I'm going to throw up and throw a violent fit for 2 hours.

Haha, I just can't stand it, the reaction of the little boys to the previews make me lose faith in our younger ones:rolleyes:

Haha have fun though, who knows, maybe it will have a plot:p

Mass Stang 06-05-2003 10:32 AM

I will problably watch it for entertainment value alone. But This is just gonna make the ricers heads bigger especially since a Saleen gets crushed trying to follow some piece of sh*t mitsubishi (Hey don't they make tuna too?). I hope this whole ricer thing is just a fad and dies soon.

I've lost my hope of that:(

Mass Stang 06-05-2003 10:48 AM

Sad but true, HU ?

8T4SVOChick 06-05-2003 12:50 PM

We will more than likely watch it, like said before, for entertainment value alone during the movie and after. We will more than likely take one of the Stangs and bust a few bubbles.:D

silver_pilate 06-05-2003 02:26 PM

I think it was in Car and Driver or Motortrend, but I saw an article where they tested the actual cars used in the movie. They tested the ricer Evo and Mitsubishi (I think) and the old Yanko Camaro replica. The Camaro ran midish 13's, the Evo was like 13.7 or something and the other car was mid-low 14's.

Course, I'm sure they didn't hit the NAWWWWSSSSS. That would have dropped them down to 9 second rides for sure.

I cant resist going to see. The kids there should be as funny as the movie itself. I cant wait to see the parking lot

Fox Body 06-05-2003 08:33 PM

No way. I ain't going to see that crap unless someone pays me to. Screw that. FIre coming out of the exhaust,  . Naah, I can find better things to do or watch.

aford50lx 06-06-2003 12:46 AM

No- way,the best car in that movie is the mustang that gets run over by the 18 wheeler, that ought to be enough to keep any real mustang drivers away.I think it was a saleen or somthing like that i saw the comming attractions on tv it was a real fast clip so i cant be sure,i know it was a mustang though. Now we ALL know if that movie had ANY reality in it what so EVER, that stang would have been in front of all those ****-bag ricers!!!! and not under those truck tires!!!!! I think ill wait till my son gets a dvd or somthing, i aint spending no cash on that crappy movie!!!!

joe4speed 06-06-2003 03:04 AM

Nope, I'll see it when it comes out on dvd, just like the first one. Its not that I didnt mind the first one either, but I'd rather see something else before that.

Ahh...com'on guys! I'll see it eventually. Of course I'll watch it with the understanding that it's a comedy. :) Really, when was the last time any movie was based totally in reality?

When was the last time a movie was based on cars, let alone racing? Not trying to persuade or anything. I totally understand why the holdouts are holdouts. I could almost go that way too. :)

The Fireman 06-06-2003 11:24 AM

Hmmmm spend my money to watch a movie where a Mustang gets crushed, then laughed at by a bunch of ricers, and add to the profits of the movie company, increasing the chance of a third film?

I don't freakin' think so. ;)

I agree as well. ~Brian

Mass Stang 06-06-2003 12:19 PM

I go out of my way to NOT encourage them. I was at a stop light with my Truck yesterday and a few of them where driving by. Out of the corner of my eye I can see they were looking at me as if to say (Do you see me). I just kept my eyes straight ahead like I wasn't impressed. Again I wasn't impressed.

I'm sure John and I will go see it. There aren't any other new movies coming out this weekend.

blue00gt 06-06-2003 12:51 PM

Every time I see the Stang go under the semi trailer in the commercial I just want to grab someone by the throat and squeeze the rice out of them. I may go to the parking lot to strike down the unroadworthy when they come out of the theater high on rice crack, but I definitely won't pay to see it.

bri32zz 06-06-2003 04:31 PM

I heard the Ricers were planning to camp out at the theater and buy out the first showing...Then I heard they will reinact the entire movie for our local viewing pleasure on our local streets this weekend. Can't wait to watch them make a$$es out of themselves tonight:D

Wow, that's so gay!

I saw the movie opening night, it rocked! There were so many domestic people that you could barely hear the movie over the overwhelming bull**** being yelled every two minutes!:D

There were props to the domestics. There was a line from the main actor, something like "we'll never beat these guys fair..." or something to that effect.:)

84gt347 06-09-2003 11:36 AM

yea and they also used the domestics to ride in and save the day. That was cool:)
