Your contributions are always appreciated in any forum, Kell.

With 18,000 members we do have a lot of knowledgeable folks on the tech forum - and it shows. I'm very pleased and grateful for the savvy input we receive on a daily basis in order to better help our members.

My philosophy as a moderator is that my job is to review as many posts as I can, edit what requires editing and when I can answer a query to do so, but I never assume I have - or attempt to supply - all the answers, even in the early days of this website, although I contributed my share. The point is for the members to supply the tech information, whenever possible, not rely on one or two people.

I believe that any moderator on any type of tech forum should know enough to recognize BS or plain misinformation when he or she see's it, but no moderator will ever have all the answers and volunteer staff with 'real' jobs and families obviously cannot devote all their time to the forums (nor does Dan McClain expect us too).

That's why we appreciate dedicated, knowledgable members (like you and others) who are willing to share what you know to help other Mustang owners as well as clarify points of confusion and Mustang mis-information.

Dan McClain owns this site and has spent thousands of hours - and dollars - bringing it to where it is today - but we've always considered Mustang Works to be a team effort, not a one-man show. Our members, including those you listed in your post, are all part of that 'team'. We hope those who are lurking will reveal themselves and we're (again) pleased for the efforts everyone has given to this site and look forward to even bigger and better things in the future, as the site grows and matures.

Now, back to the topic; Roll Call: Yeah, I'm here. :)

Still here.... I'm an old Stanger :) I'm working on getting a new car. Just look at my avatar and connect it to the name baby!! Can't forget...

I don't post as much as I used to. Mostly because I am so damn busy with school :( But I'll be around. This is the best Mustang board on the net.... hands down.

Hopefully at least a few people remember me :)

MustangKelly96 03-24-2002 01:31 AM

While I'm sure no one is looking for me,:D I'm always here lurking around. I LOVE THIS PLACE! Would like to thank all for their knowledge and stories. While I'm still no Mustang expert by any means, I can at least talk somewhat intelligently(sp lol) about my car from what I have learned here. :D

Thanks Again ,
Kelly

I'm still around, not nearly as much as I'd like to be... Finishing my Network Engineering doesn't leave me enough time to get on here.

LX5liter 03-24-2002 12:13 PM

I'm here, but only because i'm forced to. ( Damn voices!! Leave me alone!!! ) :D

Unit 5302 03-24-2002 12:14 PM

Hey godslayer, always nice to see you around.

gt lee, you're not keeping me in line like I asked!! Just look at my title! HEHE. I'm always glad to see you're hangin in there with us!

MustangKelly96 I always notice female stangers making posts. Being a cool female stanger sets you into a special class. I really think it's great having some girls on this board.

That, and your name is killer, almost the same as mine ;) ,

Kell
