K......4 days to Cecil!!!!!.... I'd like to get a "headcount"
as too how many are going and whose gonna be there! Also would like to know how many are staying at the hotel on Friday night, and who is not.....
I got goodies for ya'll!!!!! :D If your going, please PM me your cell phone # so we can hook up either Friday eve. at the hotel for the 'gettogether' so courteously done by SSOTN, or if your not, so we can know when and where to find you at the track on Sat. morning! I believe we get there around 8ish...someone please correct me if I'm wrong!!!!!!! :confused:

Been having way too many troubles with the car, she's at the shop having the intake pulled so maybe FINALLY they can get this brand new engine to NOT smoke...

Just not in a racing/car mood anymore. Going to be about 40 miles north of yall lookin for a house in Jersey.

I am only 35 mins north from cecil.. but i'll tellya it's not looking
very good weather wise they are calling for rain Sat. & Sun.

I'm close too and they are calling for rain but only light rain or intermittent showers. Plus the weather people are often wrong, we'll just have to wait and see what happens. I'll probably get in sometime around late morning or early afternoon. Cya then

Yeah, it rained last year too. We were there around 8am. by the time we all get drenched, it cleared up and they dried the track it was after NOON b4 the first run down the track! But the weather ended up being GREAT after that.
C'mon, MOC, dont let a little rain hold ya back...YOUR TOO CLOSE not to go! ;)

Topless's flight from Houston got delayed. She's not arriving until about 430 now, so we're gonna get stuck in both DC AND Baltimore Friday rush hour traffic! The last time we did this, we left around the same time, and it took us 4 hours to get there. This should only be a 2 1/2 hr. drive, but the traffic is murder, so once again, it'll take close to 4 hours. I'm looking for an alternate route that'll get us there quicker, but at any rate, I don't see us arriving at the Crystal Inn before 830pm! Plus, we were supposed to meet RadicalGT along the way and caravan up, but we've not heard back from him. We'll wait at the designated spot, but he doesn't know Topless has been delayed.

It's always something, isn't it? :rolleyes: We'll see you all when we get there.
