Post WTF!!! SOMEONE BROKE INTO MY CAR ON MY FIRST DAY AT WORK!!!

Well, it happened tonight between 6pm-9pm at work. The whole day I've been looking outside to make sure the car was okay and when Im off at 10pm I unlock my car but it doesn't open. With a little persuasion it opens. I get in and the seat is in an off position when I see my shift lite is all bent up and I knew it there. **** !!! The first day I bring my car to work with the new paint job and this **** happens! I called 911 and they told my to call the other police line and when I asked them what the number was they said they didn't know (WTF!!) Well, I know the number but I will be doing a police report tommorrow. I'm just glad my car wasn't stolen.

It looked worse before, I cleaned up a bit. **** !!!

You got off easy dood...tonight my friend got his whole car stolen. It was a mint condition 1987 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe with a little over 50K miles on it. They stole it out of his driveway while he was at my house (driving another car). This is the third Monte he's had stolen since I've known him. These people have no respect for other people's things. Just be happy you still have your car though. Just out of curiosity...did they even take anything?

So I pushed it up to 110,
That flathead motor was about to give in,
I crossed my fingers and prayed to the lord,
Don't let me down you fuct up ford!"

I sincerely believe that anyone caught breaking into someone elses car should have their balls removed with a rusty, dull razor blade. Really.

BTW, the paint job looks great, but it does kinda scream "break into me".

Take care,

I love the new paint. Are you thinking about doing the spoiler black to to match the Mach 1?

It looks like he painted the inside of the spoiler black, but left the outside blue.

Thats rough man. These little punks should have the crap kicked out of them. That is one nice stang though. I like the paint job, looks sharp. But don't worry, you can also fix her back up to new and maybe even better. But something like this has gotta piss ya off. I'm going to put security system on my car with heat seeking missiles. =) Show those little punks to stay away from my car. lol

Thanks guys. As for where it happened, it happened at Home Depot. Took the console out today, but fixing the door looks like a job for someone else. How much do you think it will cost? Basically the plastic door handle broke but putting the spring for it to work looks difficult.

That sucks so bad. Im sorry ur car looks bad a**. i went and looked at a mustang that had its whole stereo stolen. bad stuff, he had a full Alpine speakers and an Alpine DVD player in it. One day someone stole all the stereo and even stole his rear wing!. its so bad that people make thier cars look nice or put bad a** stereos in thier cars and have to worry about some lazy punk to steal it. Im 17 and i think u would probably call me one of the "young punks" but i hate to see that

One of my best friends, Jim Baker, works at Hawaii Racing in Simi Valley, Calif. He often brings parts home with him that shops here in Ventura have ordered, and delivers them the next day on his way to work. Nobody asks him to, he just does it to be nice and save someone a trip to Simi Valley. He also collects loud and obnoxious race oriented jackets. Well, about two weeks ago someone broke into his Fiero and stole about $1000 worth of parts AND a brand new NHRA/Budweiser leather jacket he had just bought on eBay for $350. They just smashed the drivers window in. He said the door was still locked, which means they just reached in through the broken window and grabbed the goods. This happened inside the locked gates of his condo complex. What really sucks was that Joe, the owner of hawaii Racing, made Jim pay for the parts. Joe can be a real prick sometimes. Jim still takes the time to deliver parts for customers, but now takes everything inside when he gets home.

Take care,
-Chris

This kinda crap keeps getting worse. The reason is pretty simple. Parents now a days suck. They don't teach their kids jack in the way of manners or respect. Laws are in place more to protect the people doin that kinda crap than anything else. If you were to catch them in the act and beat them to a bloody pulp, you'd be the one going to jail. The little pricks would go up to the stand, cry their little eyes out about how they wanted to fit in. Then their sorry *** parents would talk about what a good boy their piece of **** with a name is.

By that time the jury is all misty eyed cause they are suckers for a sorry *** sob story and they convict you of assault and that crap. It's pretty obvious whoever did that to your car was pretty inexperienced. They didn't even manage to get your stereo. Lame. Just plain ******* lame.

Our sorry *** society just plain breeds disrespect and criminal behavior. I'm sick of seeing it, sick of hearing about it, and feel that there are 1000 morons to 1 intelligent person out there right now.

Cool

Im going to invent a device that bolts to the floor under the drivers and passengers seat that will shoot a shotgun shell full of bird shot into the a** of anyone who sits in the seat after the alarm has been activated.

I actually got a book from the library awhile about early anti theft devices that had a devise that was bolted under the seat of a bicycle that was basically a hidden retractable blade. the owner of the bike would extend the blade, with a small lever under the seat, and lock it into place. the tip of the blade was just under the surface of the seats cussion. If anyone sat on the seat without retracting the blade they got a very unpleasant surprise.

I am right in there with you StreetStang cuz about 5 days after I got the brand new top for my '80 convertible some kid took a knife to it and stole my stereo by kicking in my dash in the process. Well I eventually found him through some digging around of my own and well he got a good a$$ kicking from my best frined cuz it turns out this punk jumped my best friend 2 weeks earlier and hit him with a shovel...needless to say my best bud was out for revenge..hehe
