Unhappy Saleen body kits

I recently bought the complete Saleen body kit for my '00GT. I was very disappointed with the fit and finish when I received them - they need several hours of work just to get them ready for primer. Tons of nicks, gouges, rough spots, and swirl marks. Also, the bumper covers had to be massaged alot with a heat gun to get them on straight.
For a kit that costs $1300+, I would have expected near OEM quality.
I guess they must keep the ones that turn out well for their own cars and send out the crappy ones to the people that buy them aftermarket...
