Pros/Cons Turbo / Supercharge
i need some help to determine what to get between a turbo kit or supercharger. mind if you guys can help with the pro and cons of it? thanx in advance

Turbo kits are generally more expensive and harder to tune, have less low-end torque with a little turbo lag, but offer a ton of top end horsepower.
As for blowers, they are generally cheaper and simpler. Root style blowers offer a very flat torque curve - they will give a lot of low end torque, but not as much top end horsepower. Centrifugal blowers give you more top end than roots style, but have less low end power. For a street car I would probably stick with a blower instead of turbo unless you have a lot of time and money. |
