Saw my first '03 Cobra
I was crusing the bike last night, and I saw one go by while at a light. When I realized it was a blower snake, I turned to follow bending a traffic law in the process.
I got in behind him and there was an opening and he got on it. Caught me off guard because we were in moderate traffic on a city street. Wound it up to about 80, thing moves really good. When I got next to him at a light, gave each other a nod and a courtesy rev. The suits around us must have thought we were nuts. Didn't get a chance to run him, but I was on cloud nine the rest of the night. Man I gotta get me one of those.

I looked at an 03 Cobra on a lot in Ocala, Fla last week. It had a $5k mark up!! It would have been sweet to own but.... there is no way I'm gonna pay more than MSRP. If anyone is interested in buy a Lightning, GT, or Cobra there is a dealership just north of Orlando that discounts ALL their cars, including SVT vehicles. They didn't have a cobra when I was there but they did have a Lightning and it was over a thousand less than the sticker. The name of the dealership is Mullinax(I think I spelled that right). Heck, you could get a cheap one way flight there for a couple hundred and save yourself thousands of dollars. They are a 'one price' dealership I saw Lightnings at $31k and new premium GTs for just over $21k.

When I bought my Corvette I flew down to Florida and drove it back. Except I didn't have a car in mind to buy I just hoped I would find one. Had to extend my trip an extra day before I found it, made it more exciting.

Hmmm I think SVT had some info about retailers not to sell over the MSRP. Its some rumor I heard from a buddy who is going to buy one but you could look into it

Yeah, I rode up beside one about a month ago (red). At first, I didn't yet realize that it was 2003. I just said to myself "man this cobra looks awesome" then it hit me "Ohhhh, 2003". It has a real presence up close and personal. I pulled up beside it and just cruised for a few seconds. Dude didn't even look over cause he was all into the music he was listening to (I was in my 79) so i tapped the horn and he looked over. I pointed to his car and gave him a big grin and thumbs up. He returned with a huge grin of thanks and a wave and I decreased speed. Looks really awesome. (I decided it wouldn't be worth a race (didn't feel like losing that day).
