scanners for the track
Anybody recommend a good scanner (don't know the exact name, you can listen to the pit crews and drivers at the NASCAR races though them.) Xmas is coming up and I know my dad wants one. He said the Radio Shack one wasn't too his liking, but I'm not sure what is and want to surprise him. ~Brian

I have that and it's great! http://www.uniden.com/product.cfm?product=BC80XLT |
That is a great scanner, but for listening to the teams at the track, i like this one better:

My first scanner was a sport cat, and it was better for racing because it gives you 20 Priority Channels, which cut's time searching when you have so many teams to listen to. |
Where's a good place to buy the SC200? I've read about some of them, and that looks like the one I'm going to get. Beach Audio has them for just over $200, is this reasonable? ~Brian

These guys have it for $169:

Looks like I'll be placing an order with these guys, awesome price. Thanks for saving me $35 bucks Chris!!! ~Brian

Okay, wait, I hate sushi, and I don't cook. Hmmmmm. Okay, sushi is for people that don't know how to cook, and can't find a drive-thru. :D Take care, ~Chris |
