Angry Seat bracing bent

The seat bracing (frame) bends, and will no longer support driver...

On my 1997 Aerostar, the driver's seat frame bent from fatigue, and now leans back. I adjusted the upright position, but its maxed out, and still leans back. I have "kicked" the seat and rebent it forward, but I'm afraid doing that again will crack the seat bracing.

Is there anyway to help reinforce it?
Anything I can weld a bracket to...?

Looking for suggestions.

Hate to but I have to agree with Crazy. It can be fixed but its a pain in the arse in a big way. My guess is the seat is a bucket model with a folding arm rest on the interior side (right)? Seen it happen plenty times before. to fix it you will have to take the seat cover off (pain in the butt if you ask me) and bend the upright piece back straight and weld on a brace. My suggestion is junkyard. When my buddy was building his 79 model extended cab he bought a crashed astovan for 200 bucks forhte whole thing just to rob te front buckets and bench seat out of. If you could do that, Id say you'd be better off.
