That does suck. I wonder exactly what he did. The older you get before having that "special" relationship, and breaking up from it, the harder it is to get over it. Still, it sounds like he went a bit beyond "too far". If there is any good in the current situation, it's that he'll get credit for time served for the time he's in before the sentencing. The plus to that is there isn't as big of a headache when he learns his fate. I've been no angel, and have been locked up many times. The longest stretch was for a year, but the same held true each time: after a week, you get used to it. I firmly believe that kids who get into trouble should be forced to spend a weekend in jail for their 18th birthday just to enlighten them. Two or three days would be long enough for them to get the message, and short enough that they wouldn't get used to it, or find a good Pinoccle (sp?) partner!
