I have test drove them. I have a friend who has a 2000 convertable, another who has a 2001 coupe, and another who just bought a bullet. What i am going by is what i see at the track. Most, now this is most, GT's are running anywhere from 14.3 to 13.9. This is stock or not far from stock. The LS1's are running anywhere from 13.8 to 13.2. The same for the LS1's, stock or not far from. I have also beaten LS1's. Now if you could put the same exact driver in an LS1 and in a 99+ GT the Ls1 is going to win. I really dont care for the LS1 but, gotta love that they are this fast right from the dealer. I wouldn't trade my stang for any LS1 powered car. For the amount that i would pay for the LS1 i could have a car that runs 10's and probably pull close to 1g on a skidpad. Again, not intended to flame. Back to your original post. Good kill man.
