A small pic like the one I have should be OK IMO.

Small pictures work fine, but then they just get bigger and bigger, and well you get the picture. Ugh, that wasn't punny. I like seeing them in the Avatars, but I don't really have that strong of an opinion either way.

I just don't want to see the sig thing get out of control and have us lose the ability to put funny stuff down there.

I agree. As long as its one reasonably sized pic and not a bunch of jibba jabba, I don't care. Better to look at a pic than read about how you're going to buy a crate engine then a blower and paint the car (Don't we all?!)

you are right that we cant let them get out of hand...maybe signature pictures could be limited in size like avatars (but bigger of course)...

By pic you mean an actual pic like in our avatars?? or just a link like we have been doing here?

If you mean a pic like in avatars then i say keep like it is a link is ok but with a pic everytime that person make a post your going to view it.

OK Fine! I took it out. But I kinda liked them in the sigs. The user's rides section is just so hard to navigate. C-ya, Melisa

I think pictures would be ok as long as they aren't too big. Some of us are still using a dial-up connection I think the avatars do a good job of showing alot of peoples' cars also.

jj.jonathon, Thanks for the compliments. Now that I'm at home I'm gonna put my pic in my avatar like it used to be. I was at work so I didn't have the file. I'm really not sure what brand the body kit is. I had it done here locally, a company called AC Sport. Anyway..... Thanks again. C-ya, Melisa

Cool YES!

Whatever pic you decide to put in your sig...its a part of that person...to me that is where(along w/ your avater) a person can express themselves!!!!!!! I like the idea of being able to put pics in the sig, regardless what they are(In good taste of corse) just as long as they do not eat up the whole space and are not as big as the posting boxes! TNT

I agree with having the pics if they're not HUGE! They're cool by me!

I agree, didn't bother me in the least bit. But some people just have to ruin it for the rest of us by cramming as much JUNK (text and/or pictures) into their sig....You know who you are. There's only about 3-4 members that abuse the privilege, but you know what they say, only takes one bad apple to spoil the barrel

Ok, so that saying doesn't EXACTLY fit this situation, but it was close enough

Default Resources

I think that the problem is that graphics take a lot of system resources as compared to text. That can compromise the speed with which the board operates (especially with dial up). I'm no whiz kid on this stuff, but I believe that's where the "rub" arises.

I don't mind a small pic of it, doesn't bother me. I actually like seeing the persons pic aslong as it's a reasonable size in that manner.

No, really, I like the pics, but I think they should be the size of 180x180.

I've done the modem connection thing, and large files suck. If it were kept to SMALL files I wouldn't mind. Of course I use my Avatar for that.
