Should we be afraid?

Ok first check out this link then tell me what ya think.
Inside Dodge Concept Vehicles Charger RT

Can this be a future mustang challenge? I must say I think it looks pretty sharp. Although I'm sure it will have a high price range. :D

Very nice looking. I dont understand why they choose to make it a four door though:confused: I guess to apeal to a wider market.

Sounds like it could be some tuff stuff, but with a longer four door chassis, I wonder how much it tips the scales at.

Anyone else notice the Independent Rear Suspension? Probably price in with the Cobra.

1969Mach1 12-22-2001 05:36 PM

Yeh I'm imaging it being priced with the cobra.

Hey, at least the 2000 Bullit Stang has something to chase after now! :D Might take a little tweaking to run down something with 325 HP though.

1969Mach1 12-22-2001 07:45 PM

Yup for sure. But nothing we can't handle. ;) Aslong as it's built in North America I don't mind it. :)

I've seen one of those bad boys in real life. At Bandimere Dragway in Denver, CO during Mile High Nationals. It was coooool.

Crazy Horse GT 12-22-2001 08:11 PM

sharp but they should have put the exh pipes on the outer sides, instead of together, that looks kinda rice:eek:

6T9PONY 12-22-2001 08:16 PM

1969 Shelby Mustangs had the exhaust tips together!

Ya, did u see the other crap they were thinking of making???

The charger doesn't look that bad though, they need to move the pipes more out. About the rice comment. The Shelby was made in '69, before rice. Now days it does look like rice. But what do we care, it's a dodge.

Mercury 12-23-2001 03:32 AM

Actually, if I remember correctly (I had a little to much wine at a females house tonight. Read my post about it), the 69 Shelbys came with the pipes exiting out in the center, but a recall changed that due to backfire from deacceleration caused vapors from the gas fill area to ignite and Fire persued.

mustangman65_79 12-23-2001 04:19 AM

Thats something to look into.
