sorry about your accident, and maybe you should go get the neck checked out dude.. whiplash is a *****. gosh as far as advice as how to calm your parents down..doh..just ask your dad weren't you a kid once? give your mom one of those mommy's little helpers and she will chill for a minute. or two . no really.. i have no clue..my stepson comes home on feet after getting the car impounded and what can you do about it? nothing..its too late its over. just move on.
