Well, today is the first day my car has been driveable. I installed the gas tank this morning and let her off the jack stands. I fired her up and pulled her out of the garage. I flipped around in the street, because I had it backed into the garage. Then I pulled it up my driveway into the garage. Leaving a pair of black stripes all the way up the driveway!!!
I was seeing how high my torque converter would wrap up, and I decided to just nail it and let off the brake.
My dad got kind of pissed when he saw the driveway.
It was worth it though.
I would have taken it for a spin around the block but it isn't licensed yet, plus I haven't installed the front shocks yet, or the export brace.
Now it's on to body work. It's a very tedious job...but I enjoy it. It's pretty neat to see something that looks really bad before you start, and then see it after you're done and it looks great! It's very rewarding when you do it right.
