If you really want a supercharger, I think the Novi 2000 would be a much better choice considering your setup. It's a supercharger that can provide you with great power now -- and even more power if (when) you decide to step up the combo w/ a 331 or a 351W-based powerplant.

I see the Novi 1000 as a good choice for someone that has a stock 5.0 w/ bolt-ons that is just getting into the hp game.

I have driven in both n2o and blown mustangs and they are both similar in that the power isn't really there in "around town" driving. Yeah, the blower is "on" all the time but you really don't notice it until you go for a 4,000-5,800rpm blast down the local street. Of course, nitrous is only "on" when you're at WOT.

Although I have never driven in a 331 or 351W-based mustang, I would imagine that this would give the best of both worlds. Let's say you keep your current combo, save up for a couple years, and then get a nice 500hp all-motor 372 or 392 (351W-based stroker motor). Now you have (1) a fresh motor, (2) the same top end pull w/ the same (or higher mph in the 1/4), and most importantly (3) you have more bottom-end torque so the car mostly likely will feel faster at ALL rpms.

Just my $.02
