Yeah, I don't really have a problem when people spend money on appearance mods as long as they are tasteful as yours are. Of course, tasetful is in the eye of the beholder....no picnic table wings, fire extinguishers mounted on the A-pillar, and coffee can mufflers for me.
The way I feel about ricers is this: hey, if you want to spend your money on fake wings, mufflers, stickers, wheels, and what not, that's fine. It's your car. But don't try and tell me about how fast your car is now or how much you know about cars unless your car is fast and you do know about cars. Those guys that run their mouth without having a clue what they are talking about...that's my definition of ricer.
