When people at institutions we have to deal with and that are important to our life - like banks - screw up, it causes a great deal of anxiety and unnecessary frustration as well as frayed nerves while we attempt to straighten it all out.
Bounced checks - due to the bank's mistake - can be a real hassle and the bank 'making good' on them is no favor, it's their error that caused the problem to begin with.
Modern life can be difficult; making a living, personal relationships, social obligations and so on all eat up our time and energy. When we're faced with an unnecessary problem due to incompetence or inattention to detail on someone else's part, it's frustrating and eats up even more of our time and energy, just to fix a problem someone else created due to their error.
This forum is one place for folks confronted with these problems to vent. If the threads bore you, skip them. Don't wag your finger and, in effect, tell folks to 'deal with it'. That's useless. You deal with your problems your way, others will deal with them their way, and this forum may be an outlet for some to do that. So what?
On the internet, we're basically anonymous so you have no idea of what some of our members who post here have been through or may be going through in their lives. Some may have problems you couldn't even begin to handle, so don't assume that everyone is just dandy and that they can simply 'deal with it' whenever a problem is thrust on them by anothers' mistake.
Perhaps that's easy for you to do and that's fine, but you can't know what other's are already 'dealing with', so I would advise you not to attempt to lecture anyone as to how to cope. You - nor I - simply don't have enough information to do that and if they want to complain, why is that a bad thing? It isn't, as far as I can see.
Most of us 'let it go' all the time, but a little complaining and venting on an open internet forum won't hurt anyone and may be just what someone needs to help them 'let it go'.
So, take your own advice: let it go.
