Whad ya say?

I spent four years behind a 120mm smooth bore, Army.

I got out in 1991 and went straight to the VA rep. I couldnt get my records either so I walked into the local Senators office and got them to request my mil records on their letter head. Got records in two days

I get 30% as of now plus more for being married, (Can only get marraige money at 30% or more.)

My compensation is not for my hearing but for other injuries I got inservice.

It never costed me a dime when I went to the VA to complain of problems, before any compensation. I think once you open a claim at the reps office their shouldnt be any charge. I never paid a dime.

Appeal process/ First time around I went to massive Doctors and psycologist. Even went to Nashville for a board meeting, sucked.

It was worth the effort though. No cost for meds, or docs.
I dont suffer much hearing loss although docs say my drums are trashed. I do however get a weird shiver like feeling all of a sudden sometimes, my eyes cross for a sec or so.

Four surgurys later I have another board meeting with the VA. I think I need to mention to them about waking up in the night with a dead burning flesh smell, also.

Some crazy stuff happens to us Veteran's thats why we are all "bro's" If ya need anymore advice on our Tennessee Va system let me know.

If I could go back in time I'd still join the Army again, nothing like hot lead down range.
