3 men walk into a Hotel.
They don't have a lot of money but get a room for $30. Each guy kicks in $10 for the total of $30.
The men go to the room and have a few beers.
After they leave the hotel manager realizes he over-charged the guests by $5! So he sends the bell hop to give back the money to the men.
On his way up the bell hop thinks to himself "How am I going to split $5 into 3?" He pockets $2.
He gives each man a $1 bill. ($5 less the $2 he kept is $3 right
)
So....Each guys pays
$10 less $1. That's $9 each.
3 guys paying $9 each is
$27.
$27 plus the $2 the bell hop kept is only
$29??
