Recently my car will die in between shifts. It will only do this sometimes. And it is mostly in the low gears. Sometimes it will die when idling also. This sucks a lot. The idle also goes up to 2000 rpms sometimes. This makes me think it is an EGR problem. What do you guys think? If you need me to give you more info I will. Please help!

I dont have a code scanner. I know I need to get one.
