It was a very strange feeling... hard to describe really.
I felt it coming up, and up, and up... and then realized that it wasn't coming back down, lol, and then lifted. Then, the car came back down real hard and I pulled second gear. I wasn't looking at the sky, I was looking straight ahead like normal, only I couldn't see the end of the track, rather, I was looking at the cowling (where your windshield wiper nob is) and hood thinking, "this is
not good!"

And to make matters worse, it started to get outta shape on the big end so I lifted again shortly after pulling fourth... straightened right out and coasted past the finish line. First thing I did after getting off the track, onto the return road, I shut 'er down, got out of the car, took a deep breath, and looked underneath to see what I had destroyed... I noticed one dented header tube (minor) and the bottom of my bellhousing had a big chunk of rubber hanging from it (scraped the track). Luckily I run a T-sump pan, or else I would've been shopping for a new oil pan
