Did you buy the firewall adjuster? If not I highly recommend it. I had problems with my clutch cables wearing out the grommet on the firewall and then it would stretch the cable and give improper clutch feel.

I actually broke transmissions like that until I found out what the problem was. It was never fully disengaging the clutch, and I was shifting very hard (bent shift forks, broke gear clusters). I was too stupid to realize that if it doesn't want to go in you shouldn't force it.

I think it only costs $45 and trust me, the clutch feel is awesome. Also once you get the clutch adjust on the cable at the clutch lever, you can now do your adjusting from the top at the firewall.
