Get a popup killer like most modern internet surfers.. They are great.. Believe me you will thank youself.

www.downloads.com then go get a crack for it so Its not a limited trial.. Its just a small program that runs minimized that gives a pop sound everytime it kills a popup. You never really know they are there.
