Unlike Carroll Shelby, Larry Shinoda never had his own production facility. The
Boss Shinoda 429 - a '94 Mustang with a 429 that was loaded with performance options and ran low 11's in the quarter - was designed and developed by Larry Shinoda. Unfortunately, the 429 Shinoda Mustang had a fantasyland price tag, making it more dream than reality. Basically, it was a 'concept car'.
However, there was also a limited edition, 5.0-powered version of the 'Boss Shinoda' that actually was sold in Ford showrooms a decade ago and is still around, today.
FYI: Larry Shinoda died in 1997 at age 67.
