THe manufacturer of my subframes instructed me to get them welded with beads parallel to the car along the framerail and to weld them 2" at a time then go to the rear, opposite side, back and forth, and NOT to weld the ends. My subframes did not come with brackets because they were intended to be welded only.

BTW the car quit wheelhopping, twisting, rattling, and felt much tighter afterwards.
