hey 84 LX agree with you on the notchback, they are stronger ford switched to mass air in 89 except 88 california cars they came with mass-air the speed density setup was used from 86-88 it doesn't respond well to major changes cams,heads,

so if you plan on any major changes i'd go with mass air unless you get a sweet deal on a s/d car then convert it to mass air
