Yea, I got it fixed. I had to replace the under-drive pullies with the stock ones and get a new clutch fan because the old one was a little loose.

I have never used the engine flush so I don't know anything about it.

I would think the carbon that breaks up if it could harm the engine would be caught by the oil filter or go out the exhaust.
