Smile I was sick...but the FoX wasn't ;)

I was sick from about thrusday afternoon till Saturday afternoon. Some kind of cold/mild flu thingy-- sucked. Anyway, I hadn't been able to play with my baby for the weekend, but tonight, since I am feeling much better, I decided to have some fun with her.

Haven't really gotten down on her for about a week now so on the way home (~1:30 am) I stopped in the middle of the hwy and did my 1/4 mile launch up to about 80 mph.
WHOOOaaaaaa, man! Is it just me or is she really hyper tonight . That was a real rush. Felt like she was at least a second faster in the quarter Yeah I know it was all in my head, but it still felt great. First gear held all the way to 5100 rpm and 2nd all the way to ~4900 @ ~63mph. I never really noticed 2nd holding out that long (there is a slight possibility I could be a little off in mph though, but I don't think so). Anyway, still a rush.

Gotta get some softer tires though, I have to come of the line way too gentle to get any 60 ft time close to 2.0s. I think b4 I strip the car down for the project, I'll wrap the rear Welds in some Nitto 275/50/15 Drag radials and record her full potential. The GT IIs are wonderful for the road, but suck at the track...

Just some thoughts b4 night, night... Maybe a late night movie.. whatever. I'm feeling good cause I ain't sick no more.
