Ok, I admit it seems a bit hokey, but let's say that you have a stock 70mm MAF, and you put on a 75mm MAF. Because you have more air coming through, the computer will have to add more fuel and timing to compensate. It's kinda on the same level with adding a blower or NOS(dry system). Because you're reading more air flow, your engine now needs more of the other stuff, i.e. fuel and timing. Does that help?
#8, remember the 94 Lightning? From that body style to the newer Lightning style. I can't really explain any more. My head is swimming a little. Can't think straight right now, tad bit sick. But I assure you that 1996 was the year they had 2 different body styles.
