![]() I've been told that (at least in Kansas) if you're under a certain age and still in school with a deceased parent you can claim a Social Security benefit. I've heard of this before, but it was from a friend whose father had MS. My father passed away very recently and I'm 19 and still in school (college). Anybody know how to claim such benefits? I really hate thinking about this kind of stuff right now, but I've got so many bills they're about to gang up and choke the life out of me and I could use a little extra money.
