Post Anyone Here THIS Insane?

I was in enemy territory on Saturday, buying a head gasket kit for my brother's Geo Metro... Wait, stop laughing... That's not the insanity part... well, okay, it is, but not what I am referring to. Anyway, in walks a kid, early 20s, stubble head, long sideburns, baseball cap turned backwards, and he asks for the item he called about. They were wiper blades for his Camaro. Not his Z28, not his SS, his Camaro.

Who goes to the dealer to buy wiper blades? Is anyone here that insane?

All I could imagine was this riced out 6-cyl. Camaro with OEM wiper blades.

At least he was buying blades, as in plural, instead of having one wiper sticking up across the windshield...you should have asked about a 502 crate motor while he was standing there. Maybe it would plant an idea in his head.
(edit)Just curious, how much does a Metro head-gasket kit sell for these days?

$91.

They had the motors in blister packs hanging on hooks, but I thought I would go ahead and do it the hard way.

Seriously, though, do you know how much a remanufactured short block is for the Metro? $2000. An EGR valve was $125. It seems that what they didn't get on the front end they are certainly getting on the back end.

I still can't believe that someone would buy wiper blades at a dealer. I should have asked him for some money as long as he had some to burn.
