Mercedes???

[Cobra 01]

as usual i was taking my 01 cobra for a sunday drive just me and the family when this mercedes came up next to me and gave me a few revs. so i thought it would be fun, i let him go first and when he was about a car lenght in front of me i punch it grab second and creep up on him i can see him looking over as i hit third and pass him, the funny thing was that he stayed right on my tail, about four blocks later we come up to a stop light again i asked him what he had he said he was running some nos then he took off and said good race. my question is is it possible for him to stay on my tail, cause i had a hard time pulling away? dont know what type of mercedes it was but it seemed to be quick.
