Last night we went out to Houston Raceway Park to check out friend running his stang and come to find out its the big NIRA or WIC imports racing weekend. They had some pretty quick cars running and lots of trash talking when the domestics would run but it was still a good night to walk around and chat with some old friends. While we were in the staging lanes I overheard the announcer say that they would allow stangs and cameros and such to participate in the races this weekend. WOW. That would be killer for someone to come out and steal the show from em. I think they said that the purse was between 1500 to 2k for the class winner. Come on somebody with a mean *** stang, 8s or better needs to come and get in on. PLEASE........If not I understand. But money is money!!! Later.......
